Terms of Service

The rules for using billmacdemos.com, written as plainly as we can.

These terms explain the rules for using billmacdemos.com. By using the website you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

About these terms

This website is operated by Bill McIntosh, trading as Bill Mac Demos, based in Farnham Common, Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom. You can reach us at hi@billmacdemos.com or on 07380 435414. We may update these terms from time to time; the date above shows when they last changed.

Using this website

You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You must not try to gain unauthorised access to it, interfere with how it works, introduce malicious code, or copy its content in bulk using automated tools. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the website without notice.

Information on the site

The content on this website, including our Journal, is general information and not professional advice for your specific situation. Results described in our portfolio relate to those particular projects and aren't a guarantee of results for yours. We work to keep information accurate but can't promise it's always complete or up to date.

Intellectual property

The design, logo, text, graphics and code of this website belong to Bill Mac Demos unless stated otherwise. You're welcome to link to any page and to share short extracts with credit, but you may not copy or reuse the site or its content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

Client names, logos and websites shown in our portfolio belong to their owners and are shown to illustrate our work.

Enquiries and project work

Sending an enquiry doesn't create a contract. Any project work is governed by a separate written proposal and agreement, which sets out the scope, fees, timings and ownership of the work. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.

Our liability

This website is provided free of charge and "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of it, including loss of profit, business or data, or for any viruses that may reach your device from it despite our reasonable precautions.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that can't be limited or excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you're a consumer, these terms don't affect your statutory rights.

Law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute. For how we use personal information, see our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
