We keep this short because we keep our use of cookies small. This policy explains what's stored on your device when you visit billmacdemos.com, in line with the UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website saves on your device. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, work in much the same way. We treat them all as "cookies" in this policy.
What we use
| Name | Type | Purpose | Lasts | Category |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| bmd-consent | Local storage | Remembers your cookie choices so we don't ask on every page | 12 months | Strictly necessary |
That's the full list. We don't use analytics, advertising or social media tracking cookies. If that ever changes, we'll update this policy and ask for your consent before anything is set.
Third-party content
Google Fonts. Our typefaces load from Google's servers. Google Fonts doesn't set cookies, but your browser does share your IP address with Google to fetch the fonts.
Live website previews (external media). Our portfolio can show up-to-date screenshots of client websites, loaded from the WordPress.com mShots service run by Automattic. This is off by default and only switches on if you allow external media. When it's off, you'll see our own illustrations instead.
Client websites. When you follow a link to a client's website, that site's own cookie policy applies.
Managing your choices
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the button below or the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The Information Commissioner's Office has guidance on cookies if you'd like to know more.
Changes
We'll update this page whenever our use of cookies changes, and change the date at the top when we do. Questions go to hi@billmacdemos.com.
